The holidays in this brochure are operated by Sportif International Ltd trading as “SPORTIF”, a fully bonded Tour Operator, licenced by the Civil Aviation Authority under ATOL NO. 2910.
OUR RESPONSIBILITY AND LIABILITY
In the provision of your holiday many people and organisations are involved over which we have no direct control. We have, however, taken all reasonable steps to ensure that the suppliers of these services are of an acceptable standard and that all services offered on your holiday will be of reasonable quality. In addition, in respect of claims for death, injury or illness of you or any of your party we accept liability for proven negligence on the part of our employees, agents, suppliers or their employees whilst in the course of their employment. Airlines or carriers by sea are excluded as they are subject to International Conventions which limit their liability.
BOOKING CONDITIONS
1. A Booking Form with deposit must be received by Sportif International Ltd. When you contact us to make a booking, we act as agent for the relevant carrier which will be disclosed on your documentation. We reserve the right to substitute the carrier if necessary. When we have confirmed your booking, a contract exists under which we accept responsibility for the provision of all the services described in our invoice If you book through a travel agent who is authorised to act as our agent, it will issue an ATOL receipt on Sportif International’s behalf. Any money you pay to the agent before we have issued our confirmation invoice will be paid as an indication of your intention to enter into a contract with us, and any money will immediately be protected by our ATOL bond.
2. The deposit is to cover administration costs and Insurance Premium. It is non-refundable unless Sportif International Ltd is unable to arrange the holiday.
3. The balance of the holiday cost is due, without reminder, 8 weeks before departure. If the booking is within 8 weeks from the departure date, the balance must be paid in full. If the balance is not paid by at least 6 weeks prior to departure, we reserve the right to treat the booking as cancelled and cancellation charges may apply.
4. All cancellations or alterations must be made in writing as soon as possible. If you cancel you will be liable for the following cancellation charges dependant on the number of days before departure on which written notification was received.

Please note cancellation charges may be claimed from C.S.A Ltd acting as agents for the Sportif International Activity Holiday Travel Insurance specially arranged by N.J.Heritage Partnership Ltd which is underwritten through Templeton Insurance Ltd, if reason for cancellation is covered by the terms of the policy.
In the case of any alterations by you, we reserve the right to make an amendment charge of £20 per person, and if an alteration occurs within 8 weeks before departure, to treat the original booking as cancelled in which case cancellation charges may apply.
5. Sportif International Ltd accepts responsibility to the signatory to the contract and/or to any other person named on the booking form for the acts and/or omissions of our employees or agents and suppliers while acting within the scope of or in the course of their employment, agency or contract of supply and we also accept responsibility for any deficiencies in the services we are contractually obliged to provide or for failure of such services to reach a reasonable standard save in each case that:
i) We shall not be responsible nor do we accept liability for death, bodily injury or illness caused to the signatory to the contract and/or to any other named person on the booking form in the course of or as a result of the provision of services which do not form part of your holiday arrangements through Sportif International Ltd, and
ii) Where the services in question consist of carriage by air or by sea our obligations and liabilities are limited in the manner provided by international conventions in respect of air and sea carriers.
6. Bookings are accepted on condition that accommodation booked by the client is for the use exclusively of the client and other persons named on the booking form and clients are responsible for any losses or damage to the accommodation. No other person may use the apartment without our prior written permission. Clients are responsible for any losses or damage to the accommodation and any additional cleaning costs incurred.
7. If a holiday has to be cancelled for reasons beyond the control of Sportif International (force majeure) an alternative holiday will be offered. If this is not acceptable a full refund of monies already paid will be made and we shall have no further liability arising from the cancellation.
Sportif International Limited reserve the right to terminate a client’s holiday without prior notice where, in the opinion of Sportif, airline personnel, accommodation owners/managers or other persons in authority, the behaviour of the client could cause danger, damage, distress or annoyance to employees, third parties or property. In the rare event of this step being taken, Sportif’s 100% cancellation charges would apply and Sportif’s responsibility would cease immediately and we would have no liability for any costs incurred by the client thereafter.
8. In the unlikely event that the client wishes to complain about any part of the services provided, the complaint must be made as soon as possible to the management or to our agent in the resort. If in the event of the matter being unresolved in the resort, the client must make an immediate complaint in writing to the agent and report the matter in writing to us within 28 days of return to the UK.
This contract is made subject to English Law and exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
HOW TO BOOK YOUR SPORTIF HOLIDAY
1. Call Sportif International on 01273 844919.
2. We will help and advise you choose the holiday that most fits your needs. Any questions no matter how technical, will be answered by an expert in your particular sport.
3. Once you have established the holiday of your choice, fill out the booking form supplied by Sportif International. If you do not already have a form Sportif International will forward one to you immediately.
4. Make sure you fill out all the details on the booking form especially if you plan on taking equipment, hiring equipment or if you require instruction courses.
5. After Sportif International has received your booking form a confirmation invoice will be sent to you, outlining a breakdown of costs of your selected holiday.
6. A deposit of £100 plus your insurance premium is required when you confirm your holiday and final payment is required 8 weeks prior to departure. Payment can be made by cheque, Visa or Access.
7. After you have paid the final amount Sportif International will despatch your tickets 2-3 weeks prior to the date of departure.
HEALTH AND VACCINATIONS
There are no official requirements for most of the countries in this brochure. We would recommend that you obtain up-to-date information from your doctor, the DHSS or contact Sportif International as the regulations are liable to change at short notice.
PASSPORTS AND VISAS
For a holiday abroad you will need a full 10 year Passport with a minimum of 6 months validity to all countries of the world. Make sure that it is valid for the duration of your holiday and for the country you are visiting. You need it for exchanging travellers cheques and currency. Some countries also require travellers to have Visas and, unless stated to the contrary under the resort information, it is the responsibility of the clients to ensure that they obtain these in good time before their date of travel. It is the responsibility of all passengers to ensure that they comply with all the immigration requirements for the country to be visited. We can accept no liability for clients who have insufficient or incorrect documentation. All the above applies to British passport holders. Other nationalities must check with the relevant consulates in the UK.
TRAVEL INSURANCE
We have arranged a Travel Insurance Policy especially designed for your personal protection when on holiday with Sportif. This policy is insured through Templeton Insurance Ltd in conjunction with N.J.Heritage Partnership Ltd.

CONDITIONS APPLYING TO THIS CERTIFICATE
It is a special condition that You are not aware of any reason why the Holiday/Journey may be cancelled or curtailed.
International Medical Rescue, the assistance company must be advised immediately (tel: +44 (0) 8700 662715) in the event of:
(a) Your hospitalisation
(b) Your intended repatriation for medical reasons
(c) The need to return earlier than the original booked return date when the cause of such return may be insured under the Curtailment section of this policy occurring during the Holiday/Journey,
HEALTH CONDITION
Please carefully read the following pre-existing medical conditions which apply to all Insured persons under this certificate.
1. You and every member of Your party (other than accompanied infants and those who
are physically disabled) who are insured under this insurance must be able to walk 100
metres and climb two flights of stairs without discomfort, pain or breathlessness.
2. You and every member of Your party who are insured under this insurance must not
have attended any hospital as an in-patient or for specialist treatment or have undergone
surgery within the past 12 months.
3. You and every member of Your party who are insured under this insurance will not
have seen a doctor or medical practitioner on a repeated basis of 4 months or less.
4. You and every member of your party who are insured under this insurance are not on
any waiting list for any medical treatment.
If you and every member of your party who are insured under this insurance cannot comply with any of the conditions above then You or the person who cannot comply with these questions must contact CSA Healthline on 0870 366 9373 for advice as to whether the medical condition(s) can be covered and whether there will be an additional charge or amendments to Certificate conditions. Should the state of Your health, or the health of the person upon which cancellation of this trip depends, changes before Your balance payment is due or before You travel YOU MUST contact CSA Healthline on 0870 366 9373 immediately to confirm the continuation of insurance cover for any relevant medical conditions.
You will also need to telephone 0870 366 9366 if You have a relative or close business associate whose state of health may give rise to a cancellation or curtailment claim under this Certificate or who is in hospital awaiting treatment or has received a terminal prognosis.
Failure to comply with these conditions means pre-existing medical conditions will not be covered under the Cancellation, Curtailment or Medical Sections of this Certificate. Under no circumstances will You or any insured person be covered under the Cancellation, Curtailment or Medical Sections of this Certificate if You are travelling against the advice of a medical practitioner or have received a terminal prognosis at the time of purchasing this insurance.
Travel Insurance - Important Notice
Your travel insurers would like to bring to your attention some of the imortant features of your travel insurance policy.
Policy Document. You should read the document carefully, it gives you full details of what is and what is not covered and the conditions of the cover. Cover will vary from policy to policy and Insurer to Insurer.
Conditions, Exclusions & Warranties Conditions and exclusions will apply to individual sections of your policy while general exclusions, conditions and warranties will apply to the whole of your policy.
Health Your policy contains restrictions regarding pre-existing medical problems concerning the health of the people travelling and of other people upon whose health the trip may depend. You are advised to read the policy carefully.
Dangerous Sports or Pastimes If you are taking part in activities that present a risk of injury, including water sports, check that your policy covers you.
Property Claims These claims are paid based on the value of the goods at the time you lose them and not on a ‘new for old’ or replacement cost basis, unless otherwise stated in your policy.
Policy Limits Most sections of your policy have limits on the amount the insurer will pay under that section. Some sections also include other specific limits, for example: for any one item or for valuables in total. You are advised to check your policy if you intend taking expensive items with you.
Policy Excesses Claims under certain Sections of the Insurance Certificate will be subject to an excess. Where there is an excress, You will be responsible for paying the first part of a claim
Reasonable Care You need to take all reasonable care to protect yourself and your propert.,
Complaints Your insurance policy will have in it a complaint procedure which tells you what steps you can take if you wish to make a complaint.
Cooling Off Period Your policy may have a cooling off period during which you can returnl the policy and get a refund if you have a justifiable reason for being dissatisfied with the cover it provides.
Your policy is governed by the law in the country that you reside in within the British Isles unless you and your Insurers have agreed otherwise.
The person selling you the travel insurance or insurance documentation, will identify your insurer.
If you would like more information, you should ask the person selling the travel insurance, particularly if you feel that the insurance may not meet your needs.
